Hartford, Conn. (WFSB) – An SUV crashed into a gas station building Saturday, police say

According to the Hartford Fire Department, the accident happened at a Shell gas station at Capitol Avenue and Broad Street.

Initial reports said the SUV jumped the curb and drove into the building.

Three people were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The store employee was taken to the hospital after falling into the wreckage. The driver and a passenger were taken to the hospital for evaluation.

Officials are inspecting the building for structural damage.

Police say they are currently investigating the accident as a medical incident.
